Chief Executive Officer – Corton House Ltd

Salary:             circa £55,000

Location:          Norwich

Mission: to provide excellent, loving care and support for older people.

Corton House Ltd provides residential care and independent living units in accordance with Christian values. It recognises the rights, privacy, dignity and independence of residents and tenants, allowing them to live to their full physical, spiritual and emotional potential.

Corton House Ltd runs two facilities:

Corton House, a 42 bedded residential care home with a mission to provide excellent loving care and support for older people. A not-for-profit organisation that has been operating for over 60 years, it has a strong Christian ethos and a charitable status. It is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and the Homes and Communities Agency and is a member of the National Housing Federation. In its latest CQC report published in February 2017, it was rated ‘good’ in all five categories.

Brakendon Close, an independent living scheme comprising of a mixture of 51 single or double occupancy flats and bungalows, finished to the highest standards. It is designed to provide for persons of pensionable age, who are physically capable of leading an independent life but would enjoy being part of a community and the security provided by an onsite scheme manager during normal working hours together with an out of hours alarm system.

  • Demonstrate a track record of leading significant change management, ideally in the context of driving organisations forward from existing positions of strength
  • Have experience of leading an organization, service or team and developing and empowering a wide range of people to achieve strategic goals
