School General Manager
An exciting new opportunity within one of London's leading art and design institutions has arisen for a School General Manger to effectively support the development and implementation of the School strategy.
As the School's General Manger, you will ensure the effective management of school resources and the smooth operation of all activities concerning the institution. You will work closely with programme directors to oversee several processes including timetabling, student recruitment and student examinations. As the post holder, you will also have responsibility for central operational budgets and manage a team of staff overseeing a range of administrative tasks.You will occasionally be required to act as a secretary to the School Leadership Team assisting in various meetings and providing specialist advice and guidance to the wider team. As the School General Manager, you will also be the initial point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders all operational functions.
The successful candidate will be a proven professional, educated to degree level or equivalent with previous experience in senior level administrative within a higher education environment. With the ability to work independently and proactively, you will have the confidence to deal with a wide variety of people, prioritise competing deadlines and comprehend complex situations quickly along with great IT and organisational skills. You will possess exceptional communication skills along with financial management experience.
