Since 1989, Stonewall have made significant differences to the lives of LGBT people, by securing legal protection from discrimination and championing equality at governmental level, in schools and in companies and organisations in the UK and around the world.
Join us as a Client Account Manager and you’ll help us inspire organisations to make their premises, culture and suppliers more inclusive and accepting of LGBT people.
A key part of our work with companies and organisations is our Diversity Champions programme, which advises organisations on the steps they can take to be more LGBT inclusive and benchmarks best practice in our Workplace Equality Index. You’ll focus on identifying potential new members for the programme and recruiting them with a solid and compelling business for their participation. Once on board, you’ll offer guidance on improvements in provision for LGBT people and encourage, mark and feedback on submissions to the Index.
Their main point of contact with Stonewall, you’ll be a conduit for our policies, conferences and programmes, develop and lead seminars on diversity and inclusion and contribute to relevant reports and publications.
With experience of establishing, building and maintaining relationships at all levels of an organisation, you’ll have first rate interpersonal skills and a passion for, the public sector. You’ll be adept at spotting new business opportunities, setting and achieving business goals and conveying complex concepts and data to a wide range of audiences. You’ll balance your comfort with speaking and presenting in public and with drafting clear and concise communications, with a good commercial awareness, enabling you to evaluate material and problem solve and manage a busy and diverse workload.
