Job Details

SignHealth is a successful and respected charity working to improve the lives of Deaf people through our range of critically important, specialist services. We strive to ensure that Deaf people get the same access to healthcare and other services as hearing people, and support those ignored or overlooked by mainstream providers. With a track record of real impact stretching over three decades, we employ 130 people across the UK, nearly 70% of whom are Deaf.

In this new role you will work closely with the Chief Executive and two other Directors to grow our diverse range of fundraised income streams - trusts and grants, regular giving, major gifts, community and events and corporate partnerships.

You will direct SignHealth’s communications activity to ensure SignHealth has a successful presence on digital and other media and also lead communications, policy and campaigns in alignment with SignHealth’s political and social change objectives

Strong candidates will bring a strategic vision and innovation with the relevant experience to grow our fundraised income and ensure we have a successful profile. You will set our pace and ambition in these areas by inspiring, motivating and coaching your team to experiment and strive to deliver the highest possible returns on investment and deliver fantastic fundraising and communications.

We positively welcome applications from Deaf people.
