Prospectus is proud to be partnering with a leading education organisation as they look to appoint their new Trusts and Statutory Officer. This organisation is dedicated to giving disadvantaged children the important literacy skills they need to succeed. They help transform thousands of lives through literacy and the Trusts and Statutory Officer post will play a vital role in a dedicated fundraising team.

The Trusts and Statutory Officer will work alongside colleagues to deliver sustainable, multi-year partnerships to support a range of education and literacy projects. This funding will support work in schools and communities and work within a team of three permanent members of staff. The Officer will specifically and proactively apply to trusts and foundations, local government authorities and public health bodies in order to secure funding and foster positive relationships.

Reporting to the Senior Fundraising Manager, the selected candidate will have experience working across trusts and foundations and/or statutory funding sources and will be comfortable writing their own bids. You will prospect research a range of fundraising partners both new and existing to the organisation, and will be exceptionally driven by delivering literacy projects across the UK.
