This is a full-time role managing our client's highly effective practitioner service and being the designated safeguarding lead for this organisation.

Family Intervention Manager
Based: Stratford, E15 (with travel)
Salary: £36,000 to £38,000 per annum depending upon experience

This is a varied role where the successful candidate will be required to lead in three main areas:

  1. Family Intervention Services - must have excellent knowledge of how schools and academies operate and be able to lead the delivery of our practitioner services, to secure new schools and contracts, to monitor impact to provide reports to SMT and Trustees
  2. Safeguarding specialist - must be fully up to date and knowledgeable in all areas of Safeguarding, with full knowledge of relevant Acts and current legislation as well as being able to apply this knowledge effectively when dealing with family situations
  3. Corporate Responsibility - must comply with the organisation’s core values at all times and act as a representative of the organisation in order to promote and develop the charity and its networks.

As well as being able to demonstrate recent working experience in and knowledge of the three required areas, this role demands an ambitious and enthusiastic self-starter who is a creative thinker and problem solver - keen to take up new challenges whilst managing their team and their own work load on a day to day basis. The appointed person will be capable of building solid relationships with external stakeholders, all staff, trustees etc. They will need to be able to approach data analytically in order to translate given information and to use it in order to develop the organisation, services, staff and best practice. It is essential that this person is a confident and concise communicator and is able to deliver presentations and reports as required and who can remain calm under pressure.
