Job Details
We have an exciting new job opportunity for a Web Application Solutions Architect to play a leading role in the work with the IT, Digital and Customer Experience teams, ensuring customer facing web systems, marketing systems and other applications are well integrated, robust, scalable and secure.
In this job you'll work to agreed architectural principles and representing good value for money for the BHF
You'll support the British Heart Foundation (BHF) in moving towards an API based architecture hosted in the cloud with data flowing securely and smoothly between systems including our web site(s), marketing platforms, CRM, customer service tools and other BHF systems.
About you
A subject matter expert in API centric architecture you will have previous experience working with Sitecore 8.1 / 8.2 or greater. You'll be fluent in the Microsoft stack, from on-premises to Cloud PaaS/IaaS, able to work with software developers and infrastructure teams to ensure Web apps, services and provisions are highly scalable, elastic and tolerant.
With expert knowledge in web platform technology, e.g. .Net 4 and above, Microsoft web technologies (inc SQL Server, replication, ARR), Monolithic Server architecture, Cloud architecture (eg. Docker, RDS, Lambda, Web Services), SSO technologies, Javascript, you'll have in-depth experience of best practice in enterprise integration, API development, content management and scalability.
With strong analysis and explorative ability working, having previously worked with 3rd parties and vendors, you'll be able to work with staff at all levels up to and including senior management and have excellent communication skills, able to liaise and work with non-technical people in a clear manner.
You will have good web platform experience, including awareness of the latest techniques, standards and best practices and have a proven track record of delivering complex platforms at scale. This will be matched by your excellent analytical skills and your ability to detail and explain information clearly and effectively
