Description

  • Working with regional committees to produce an annual programme of events including speaker and topic selection, and sourcing venues as appropriate
  • Liaise with speakers and venue as needed
  • Organising and leading monthly calls with other regional directors, and attending a monthly London committee meeting
  • Engage in annual visits to each region outside London
  • Project management of the annual conference - from invitation to the day itself (AV, speaker liaison, etc)
  • Acting as a first point of contact for speakers in the lead up to the conference
  • Ensuring the collection of collateral for invite, slides from speakers, delegate pack, etc, ahead of conference
  • Managing social media accounts using Hootsuite (Twitter and LinkedIn)
  • Creating and implementing a communications plans to promote annual conference and Awards

Profile

Essential

  • Outstanding organisational, planning and time management skills with a methodical and detailed approach
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at a variety of levels, demonstrating a confident, professional and diplomatic manner
  • Comfortable working as part of a small office and with external committees
  • Demonstrating a hands-on approach, a pro-active and positive attitude, and good at problem solving
  • Flexible attitude with ability to adapt and pitch in where necessary
  • Willingness to attend events as necessary, mostly within London but occasional regional travel required

Desirable

  • Professional service marketing background or experience working within a professional services/membership environment

Job Offer

  • Salary of between £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
