Internal Communications Consultant
The client is looking for an internal communications and engagement business partner to work alongside the head of internal communications and engagement to deliver the internal communications strategy, with a particular focus on change.
The succesful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering the communications and engagement strategy to support this change.
-You'll be the go-to-person in your area of responsibility for guidance on how to deliver effective and engaging communications to a wide range of internal stakeholders and audiences.
-You'll work with stakeholders from across the organisation to ensure that internal communications is considered when making both organisational and operational decisions.
-You'll support the head of internal communication and engagement in developing the capability of internal communications at the the financial body- including the development of two-way feedback mechanisms and a manager cascade.
You will be driving best practice and employee engagement across the organisation with strong aligned messaging and activities to support our values, vision, brand and strategy
You will be managing internal engagement campaigns and support organisational and cultural change - you'll be seen as a trusted adviser
You will be championing a single organisation approach and supporting our overall service strategy and plans, you'll develop and deliver engaging two-way internal communications to build confidence, credibility and a better understanding of a shared organisation direction
You will be applying best practice and bringing new approaches to continuously develop and improve the effectiveness of internal communications
You will be promoting and helping to build an inclusive working environment
You'll have an excellent track record in internal communications and engagement and will have successfully managed internal communications in a change environment.
You'll be skilled at building strong relationships internally and influencing and negotiating with a range of stakeholder at all levels.
You'll know how to develop and implement an organisations strategic narrative. Importantly, you'll have a passion for providing great service to your stakeholders and partnering with internal customers from a diverse range of backgrounds.
You should have experience in designing and delivering targeted communications plans and campaigns, and measuring their success
You must be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability and gravitas to operate at all levels of the organisation
Show a creative flair to develop engaging communications
Be a self-starter - able to work to tight deadlines and manage projects independently to time and budget
Establish rapport, credibility and strong working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
Have demonstrable success in executing communications plans that use a variety of methods, channels of engagement and employing best practice
Have previously managed a team or individuals, or supervised the work of others, would be desirable
