Senior Digital Marketing Officer, Cambridgeshire paying up to £30,000
This wonderful charity has exciting plans for continued development and growth and they now have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join their team as Senior Digital Marketing Officer Reporting directly into the Director of Fundraising who is very supportive and encouraging! This role will play a key part in growing their digital communities and inspiring new supporters. They are looking for a confident, hard-working and experienced digital marketing professional who is able to make a tangible difference to their digital presence and supporter income.
Role Summary:
- To develop, implement and optimise targeted marketing campaigns across digital channels to support the organisations fundraising targets
- Produce and execute content plans to increase support and engagement across the charities social media platforms
- Manage and develop the website, SEO/PPC and e-mail marketing to support the needs of the organisation and improve experience and increase income
- Manage all agencies and suppliers to ensure the successful production of all marketing related campaigns and projects
- To monitor and report on all digital activity to guide decision making and make evidence based recommendations for future investment and activity
- To identify and develop key audiences refining content and strategy to attract and retain support
- Support the execution and development of brand identity and personality
- Produce, implement and develop the charities e-mail marketing plans including the production of the e-newsletter
- Support the production and implementation of the Fundraising and Marketing strategic plan
Skills and Experience:
- A strong grasp of current marketing tools and strategies and the ability to lead integrated campaigns from concept to execution
- Experience of identifying key audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate action to both acquire and retain donors
- Experience of effectively utilising Content Management Systems, Google Analytics , SEO/SEM, digital advertising
- Experience of monitoring and reporting on marketing activity
- Good design knowledge and ability to manage the creative process effectively
- Excellent copywriting skills with the ability to write persuasive and compelling copy
- Excellent computer, language and writing skills
- Very high attention to detail and degree of accuracy
- Excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Office and the internet in order to be self-sufficient with marketing related activities
