This prominent organisation is a leading professional body for their industry.

Description

  • Develop the Education and Training strategy and generate new ideas and initiatives to develop and support the overall strategy and in line with policy initiatives
  • Develop and manage strong partnerships with new and existing educational institutions (as well as the promotion of the University Partner Programme) and other external stakeholders to increase the awareness of the industry among young people with a focus on growing student membership
  • Design content for, organise and oversee delivery of workshops and training sessions in colleges and universities
  • Work with the commercial team to develop a strategy that promotes the Student membership package and drives sales of this membership
  • Develop and deliver a series of events for students as part of the Partner programme
  • Contribute to the running and expansion of the organisation's national competition, targeting universities and students
  • Work with the Events department and external partners in developing and growing the training offering for potential and current members, and working with the Marketing team in the promotion of training opportunities
  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing stakeholders (e.g. schools, universities, training providers, professional bodies) to identify potential partners to deliver training
  • Oversee account management of new and existing training providers
  • Take the lead the development and launch of training modules and courses, implementing new online learning tools for members
  • Manage the development of learning resources for students and individuals
  • Represent the organisation externally to enhance and strengthen the organisation's profile, e.g. conferences and exhibitions
  • Budget and line management

Profile

Essential

  • Experience in designing and developing training courses include content planning and logistics
  • Experience building strong relationships with potential partners, including education institutions and training providers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (including public speaking skills) with ability to deliver presentations/workshops to a range of audiences
  • Ability to build strong relationships with a range of external stakeholders and work collaboratively with colleagues across teams
  • Proactive self-starter who's able to bring new ideas and see them through
  • Strong commercial awareness and acumen
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with an ability to manage several projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UK

Desirable

  • Experience of managing budgets
  • Experience of managing staff and their performance
  • Familiarity with training and education policy
  • Understanding or experience of working in a membership organisation
  • Existing contacts/relationships with education and training providers
  • Experience of helping to develop and implement education and training strategies

Job Offer

This organisation is looking to offer a salary of between £47,000 and £50,000 depending on experience.
