Position: Senior Exhibition and Events Officer
Location: Crutched Friars, London, EC3N 2AE
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 per week
Salary: £36,326 actual per annum

About the role:
The Senior Exhibition and Events Officer will play a pivotal role in leading on the development and implementation of national and international conference and exhibition programme, supporting all elements our strategy. This is an exciting opportunity to build the Society’s presence at external conferences, as well as managing the delivery of targeted Society-led events such as round table events, awards and conferences.
The post-holder will manage our external events programme; taking a strategic approach to scoping out future involvement in external conferences, creative design of our exhibition space and delegate engagement, and seeking new partners and opportunities at conferences. Working in the Conference and Events team, reporting to the Conference and Events Manager, the role will engage multiple audiences to build our brand presence, stimulating the dialogue about dementia through exhibitions.
About you:
We are looking for someone with a proven experience of delivering and managing a programme of exhibitions and events. Who is able to negotiate and influence, internally and externally whilst building relationships and providing strategic and expert event decision making.
The role calls for someone who is able to work at a senior level, managing successful large-scale events, both nationally and internally. If you are highly organised, self-motivated, creative, a problem solver and genuinely committed to improving the lives of people with dementia then we would like to hear from you.
