An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Membership Assistant to join a vibrant educational charity, supporting their core administrative functions.
As the organisation's Membership Assistant, you will support the wider membership team with the day-to-day duties concerning new and existing members. You will be responsible for issuing membership cards and collecting payments along with processing new member applications. As the Membership Assistant, you will provide effective and efficient support, raising invoices and processing renewals. You will also be the initial point of contact for both new and existing members, handling both telephone and email enquiries in a timely and effective manner. You will also be required to occasionally support the reception functions including greeting guests and dealing with general communications.
The successful candidate will be a proven professional with exceptional IT and customer service skills. With substantial administration experience in a fast-paced environment, you will have excellent organisational skills together with great interpersonal skills. You will also have the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and comprehend complex situations accordingly.
