Job Title:  Events Fundraising Manager

Hours:  Full time (37.5 hours per week)

Salary:  Up to £34,000, depending on experience

Location:  Southampton

We are working in partnership with a maritime welfare charity that meets the practical, emotional and spiritual needs of seafarers and their families.  

The charity is seeking to appoint an Events Fundraising Manager to manage the events team to deliver the annual schedule of fundraising events.  The successful individual will have events management experience in a fundraising setting and will demonstrate:

  • Experience of staff management and team building in a lively and fast-moving environment
  • Experience of large event planning and execution
  • Sales experience, ideally recruitment of participants
  • Experience in networking and relationship building, both internally and with external suppliers

This is an exciting role, with the opportunity for international travel and we are seeking an engaging individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills.  You will have strong attention to detail and excellent planning and time management skills.
