An exciting new opportunity has arisen and they are looking to recruit a professional Timetabling Manager to be responsible for the oversight, operation and continuous improvement of timetabling processes within the organisation.
As the organisation's Timetabling Manager, you will ensure the production of a timely and accurate college timetable, identifying possible improvement opportunities and implementing creative solutions to any issues that arise. As the post holder, you will work closely with senior academic staff to undertake the timetabling of all programmes offered by the organisation across all campuses. As the Timetabling Manager, you will manage three timetabling officers and lead on the planning, production and monitoring of the teaching timetable, ensuring the effective and efficient resolution of timetabling issues. You will be familiar with the Syllabus Plus system and processes, being the main expert for the wider timetabling team. You will also act as the key point of contact concerning day-to-day operational matters, liaising with both internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
To be successful, you will have proven professional timetabling experience at managerial level within a higher education environment as well as demonstrable knowledge of the current issues surrounding timetabling and attendance within higher education. This post will also be suitable for a senior timetabling officer/advisor looking to take a step up in their career. In addition, you will have the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and comprehend complex situations accordingly. Familiarity and previous experience using Syllabus Plus together with strong project management skills is essential to this post. Finally, you will be educated to degree level or equivalent together with exceptional MS office skills and attention to detail.
