Senior Support Worker 

Our client is a national charity that’s been supporting people with learning disabilities since 1962. 

Our client provide a range of services including supported living, residential, and short breaks and they lead the field nationally, in utilising new technology. They believe in the principle of ‘every moment has potential’ and incorporate this in the provision of all their services. 

Position: Senior Support Worker 
Location: Longfield, North Kent 
Contract: Permanent 
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week 
Salary: Up to £22,876 pa (dependent on successful completion of probation and Health and Social Care Diploma/NVQ Level 3) 
Benefits: 20 days holiday rising to 25 days after the first year (plus 8 customary days), refer a friend scheme, pension, life assurance, staff awards, family friendly policies

About the role: 

As a Senior Support Worker, you will be a role model to Support Workers to deliver the highest standards of care and support to each person in their care and to assist the Registered Cluster Manager to monitor, report and maintain agreed standards. 

The Senior Support Worker role offers the opportunity for career progression to someone keen to develop their knowledge and skills.

About you: 

As they provide 24/7 support to some people, you need to be able to work shifts, working varied flexible hours including evenings and weekends (with potential for on-call duties). You will be committed to ensuring the people they support have great lives. 

You will have a Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 and have experience of monitoring and maintaining records so that they are accurate and up to date. You will need clear and effective communication skills. 

A full, current EU/UK driving licence and willingness to drive our clients vehicles, as and when required is an essential.
