Post Conditions: Permanent, Full-Time at 35 hours per week

This charity’s collaborative, evidence-based approach to policy gives them credibility with decision-makers at the highest level. They deliver innovative projects that improve the lives of children in local areas. They play a central role in bringing the children’s sector together to advocate in the best interests of children and young people, and to create lasting change on the issues that matter most to children, young people and families. Their staff includes nationally recognised experts in areas ranging from mental health, poverty and disability to bullying, bereavement and sex education.

This exciting role will support policy and influence activity across the charity. The post holder will be responsible for undertaking analysis and influencing across a range of policy areas, working across the organisation to develop evidence based policy positions and building close relationships with government departments and other decision makers. The post holder will also support the development and implementation of their public affairs strategy, developing and maintain knowledge of Parliamentary process and procedure, and leading work for the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Children.
