Celebrity Engagement Manager
Like rubbing shoulders with the brightest stars in telly, sport or music? They do too, that's why they need you. It doesn't matter if you've done your time as an agent, music promoter, in sports management or got years of experience making reality stars trek up mountains for charity, they need your skills in the fight for young lives against cancer.
Their communication teams have big ambitions, which means being braver and more creative than ever before. As a result, they’re expanding, and they need great people to help achieve those ambitions.
Position: Celebrity Engagement Manager
Location: London Office
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: £34,840 per annum
Benefits: In return they offer a competitive salary, impressive benefits, tea, cake or granola bars (whatever floats your boat) and the opportunity to be part of one of the most exciting charities around.
Closing Date:21 December 2018
About the role:
You'll play a key role in a team of media masters and creative comms legends, and will work closely with colleagues across the charity to provide celebrity engagement expertise. You'll create once in a lifetime opportunities to involve celebrities in the incredible work their service teams do, meet some awesome children and young people and work on campaigns that genuinely make change happen.
About you:
Their teams boast a range of skills, but no-one boasts about it. You need to bring your top-notch relationship management experience to the party. They don't expect you to arrive with a giant contacts book, but they do want you to be full of creativity and know how to put it into action; getting new celebs involved with their work, while helping their existing brilliant team of celebrity ambassadors to find new ways to continue their support.
You'll be part of a management team of brilliant supportive humans but to fit in you'll need to take pride in what you do, be as comfortable leading others as getting your hands dirty, show a positive attitude and be a great ambassador for their brand. Most important of all is a passion for their fight for young lives against cancer.
You may have experience of the following: Engagement Manager, Stakeholder Engagement, Stakeholder Management, Relationship Management, Customer Service, Project Manager, Project Management, Communications Manager etc
