Job Details
Help make the highest-profile events in the engineering calendar dates to remember.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised events professional to work for Britain’s national academy for engineering, which brings together the UK’s most eminent engineers from all disciplines to promote excellence in engineering.
Engineering is at the heart of our nation and our future: transforming ideas and materials into global infrastructure, products and services that increase the wealth and health of our economy and society.
Working as part of our events team, you’ll help us implement our events strategy, specifically in the areas of event participant liaison and team administration. Crucially, you’ll be responsible for the customer online event booking process and managing events on CRM (Microsoft Dynamics).
We need a true self-starter with excellent administrative and IT skills and experience working in an events environment. Naturally, you will be exceptionally organised and methodical with meticulous attention to detail, and you will be passionate about making things happen.
To be successful, you’ll need excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to build and foster great working relationships with colleagues of all levels. In short, you will bring everything it takes to make every event a success – and to take us to the next level.
