Position: Group Coordinator 
Location: Chelmsford, South Essex 
Contract type: Part Time, Permanent 
Hours: 28 per week 
Salary: £14,888 actual per annum

About the role: 

Working within our Community Support service, as a Group Coordinator, you will have the rewarding opportunity to provide group support and guidance to people with dementia and their carers; helping to maintain their independence, improving their sense of well-being, and putting them in more control of their lives. 

About you: 

You will co-ordinate, organise and facilitate the successful and safe provision of services delivered in a group setting. Group activities can inform, educate, support and provide structured activities with identified outcomes for attendees in a group setting. 

Groups are for a specific type of client, for example groups for people with dementia only or people with dementia and their carer. We are looking for someone with NVQ Level 2 or equivalent experience. Due to the nature of this role you will be required to travel independently. The office base will be Chelmsford and you will work across South Essex.
