Our client is looking for a Programme Officer to provide wide ranging support to their programmes working with people with deafblindness in Kenya, Tanzania, and Uganda, and when required, provide support to their teams in Romania, Peru, India, Bangladesh, and Nepal. This is a part time post working 22.5 hours per week, on a fixed term basis for 12 months, at our client's office in King's Cross, London.

About the role

Responsibilities include supporting strong programme management and timely reporting; monitoring, evaluation and compliance with donor requirements; planning and budget management alongside support for system improvements. You will work with UK and in-country teams on fundraising proposals and communication of the impact of our client's work.

About you 

Reporting to the Senior Programme Manager East Africa you will be expected to work flexibly and use initiative and persistence to deal with the unexpected. You will ideally have experience of supporting NGO work in East Africa. This is a rewarding, busy role which offers a great opportunity to consolidate experience, work with interesting people around the world and develop new skills.
