Prospectus is partnering with the Cherie Blair Foundation as they look for their new Head of Entrepreneurship, to oversee the development and delivery of the Foundations' International entrepreneurship programmes. The programmes are delivered through partners, across low and middle-income countries, equipping women entrepreneurs with the tools to transition into small and growing business owners.

Reporting to the Director of Programmes the successful candidate will be responsible for strategic planning and leadership, operational delivery and budget management of the entrepreneurship programmes, as well as directly line managing three programme managers. Day to day duties will ensure that the entrepreneurship programme is on track against plans and budgets, implementing processes and tools to monitor, measure and demonstrate impact. You will oversee the development of new programme approaches with the opportunity to develop the current network of partners through identifying and nurturing new and existing partnerships in priority low and middle-income countries. In addition, you will be involved with writing bids and proposals as well as speaking at events, conferences and networking events.

To be considered for this role it is essential to have substantial experience developing and delivering international development programmes with a particular emphasis across women's economic empowerment, gender equality, and ideally women's entrepreneurship. Strong knowlegde of the issues relating to gender development and women's economic empowerment is required with experience of managing complex partnerships in low and middle-income countries. You must have a proven track record in building effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and partners with the ability to network at senior management level. The placed candidate will have experience of managing multi-million-pound budgets and have the ability to write bids and proposals for donors. This role requires someone with experience of line managing and developing a small team, with the flexibility to travel overseas. Experience of living and working in a low and middle-income country.
