Who are we?
WWF is the world’s leading independent conservation organisation. Our mission is to create a world where people and wildlife can thrive together.
Since 1970 population sizes of wildlife have decreased by 60%. We have just embarked on an exciting new strategy designed to inspire the public, governments and companies to address the drivers of this dramatic loss of nature.
We’ve seen first-hand how wildlife, the environment and human activity are all interlinked. That’s why our passion for safeguarding the natural world must be backed up by environmental action - making the drivers of wildlife loss mainstream knowledge (through our upcoming Our Planet series, airing on Netflix), tackling the global threat of climate change (through our big global campaigns like Earth Hour) and helping people to change the way they live to ease pressure on natural resources.
WWF is at the heart of global activities in all these areas. We have teams of highly skilled professionals working with governments, businesses and communities here in the UK and around the world.
