Our client is a vibrant retirement community for around 500 people of limited financial means. Located in 225 acres of beautiful grounds in Walton-on-Thames in Surrey, the Village is just over a century old and is owned and run by a charity.

It is very special place to live and work and probably like nowhere else you’ve worked before. They are looking for an exceptional leader for their Residential Care facility.

About you: 
As the CQC Registered Manager you will be providing a customer focussed experience to people requiring nursing and/or personal care and their families, along with managing and developing a team of care assistants and ancillary staff.

You will have the ability to instil confidence in the service, forming excellent relationships with the people our client supports, commissioners, family members and the team.

As an experienced manager you will need an excellent knowledge of all legislation relating to social care services. You will lead by example and follow the trust’s policies and procedures and all legal requirements.

To succeed you will need a relevant qualification in health and social care at a minimum of level 3 with the commitment to achieve level 4. You will have strong people management skills and the ability to “sell” services with an exceptional customer service ethos.

About the charity: 
This is an exciting time to join this charitable trust. They have an ambitious development programme underway in the village to support their new model of care; enabling their residents to live as independently as possible. They are firmly focussed on the transition to their new Care Hub, due to open in Spring 2019, which will offer 30 care suites and a range of other facilities.
