Communications and Engagement Officer
A leading NHS Trust based in London are looking for an interim Communications and Engagement Officer. A really exciting opportunity for a Communication specialist.
You will be responsible for supporting and improving current reporting processes, liaising with our workstreams and suppliers.
In addition you will support the external communication of our membership activities and our results.
You will lead in the development, implementation and evaluation of a range of communications projects, including events, campaigns and consultations on high profile issues.
You will commission, write, edit, proof read, coordinate complex internal, external publications, leaflets and advice documents; write press releases, articles and other materials. You will lead in anticipating, responding to media enquiries, briefing journalists.
You will provide reputation management advice and media advice/training to senior managers, decision making bodies.
Develop media releases, publications, presentations; maintain press cuttings, photo library and online media database.
CRM/databases: working with the Lead Web Developer and the Director of Marketing & Engagement on scoping and implementing a CRM solution; maintaining the current stakeholder database.
Using appropriate software to create reports; maintain content of and manage use of CRM and other information systems.
-This role is a combination of developing business reporting, customer engagement processes and communicating the results we achieve.
A background in communications and knowledge of effective communications channels is desirable, as is experience of a customer-facing or membership organisation role.
A good working knowledge of Excel is essential. Knowledge of online portals and content management systems is desirable.
