Night Nurse 

Our client has a proven track record in providing specialist health support and is committed to promoting the service as a centre of excellence nationally. With the organisational growth, the nursing team are increasing in establishment. 

Position: Night Nurse 
Location: Perry Green, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire (Commutable from Harlow, Stevenage, Chelmsford and surrounding areas) 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: Various Shifts 44 hours over 8 nights; 4 nights on duty, 4 nights off duty 
Salary: £16.38 - £18.13 per hour

About the role: 

Our client is seeking RGN / LD nurses to work within their established adult nursing team providing robust health care provision to their adult residents. 

Within this role, you will be expected to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and use your nursing experience to assess, plan, implement and evaluate healthcare. The team includes a skill mix of general, learning disability and epilepsy specialist Nurses to create a robust service for service users. Working closely with therapeutic, residential and educational staff, you must ensure a consistent approach to healthcare delivery. 

Their framework governs that they deliver person centred holistic care providing nursing services to children, young people and adults. They also work in partnership with GP's, Psychiatrists, and Specialist Neurologists from the National hospital for Epilepsy. 

Essential Skills / Experience: 

- First level NMC Registered Nurse (RGN / RNLD) 
- Experience with having worked in similar client group (including learning disabilities) 
- Ability to plan and prioritise care for services users 
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
- Ability to undertake clinical risk assessment 
- Understanding of nursing practices within the community setting 
- Understanding of social care/health care interface 

Desirable Skills / Experience: 

- Experience with having worked in similar client group (including learning disabilities) 
- Experience of supervising and assessment of student nurses 
- Experience in epilepsy management 
- Understanding of epilepsy treatment and management
