Job Details

Our Finance team is looking to recruit a Finance Officer to join our Accounts Payable team to support the work and transactions that the British Heart Foundation (BHF) perform for us to beat heartbreak forever.

You'll support the Accounts Payable Team Leader and take responsibility for delivering a high quality service in terms of timely, accurate and efficient entry of BHF expenditure onto our central accounting system. Working on data capture you will have knowledge of IPOS queue management.

About you

With previous experience of working within Accounts Payable, you'll have basic knowledge of accounting principles including VAT, along with experience of working in a high volume environment. You'll also have strong IT skills and excellent communication skills and the have the ability to communicate finance information to non-finance staff.

Above all you will have excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills, ensuring colleagues and suppliers are kept updated in the process and that the payment process is as smooth as possible.
