Working as part of a team to create a motivational, inspiring and dignified environment, you will support and advise young people regardless of background, to enhance their quality of life particularly those with complex issues including social isolation and alienation, trauma, lack of self-confidence and low self-esteem.


You will be supporting the four high support services during annual leave, sickness and supporting services and colleagues during other periods on non-team absence across Gloucestershire.
You will have the ability to deal effectively with support plans, key work, risk assessments, repairs, voids, lettings and contractors and demonstrate knowledge and competency in all areas of housing management, including recent legislative developments and income management.


To be successful you will have previous experience of:

  • You must be a car user
  • managing complex support plans and risk assessments.
  • multi-agency working including statutory and voluntary agencies to maximise service provision
  • Be proactive and demonstrate good working practice, working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
  • working with young people including housing advice, advocacy work or residential work

You will have GCSE English and Maths or similar, and a relevant professional qualification in social work, housing, youth and community, social care, or NVQ Level 4 Support and Guidance would be desirable.


An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check; a full and current driving licence and the use of your own vehicle will be required for this role.
