HR & Payroll Coordinator

Our client is one of the leading sports and entertainment businesses in the world. They own, control or they are affiliated with over 120 international entertainment venues around the globe.

The European division of the company, comprises of The O2; The SSE Arena, Wembley; MBNA Thames Clippers; and the Eventim Apollo and indigo at The O2 and BST festival in Hyde Park; Mercedes-Benz Arena, Berlin; Barclaycard Arena, Hamburg and Stockholm Globe Arenas.

Position: HR & Payroll Coordinator
Location: The O2, Peninsula Square, London SE10 0DX
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: £30,000 a year plus benefits

Closing date: 02 December 2018
First stage interviews will be held on: 6 and 7 December 2018.

They are looking for someone to be able to start in either December or very early January 2019.

About the role:

They are looking for a HR and Payroll professional to join their friendly team at The O2.

This is a pivotal role where you will work with both HR and Payroll to assist with the monthly payroll processes, providing core administration and proactively seeking solutions and efficiencies, working alongside both the HR team and the Payroll Manager to continuously improve processes.

You will be responsible for running the monthly payroll should the Payroll Manager be absent.

You will also be the main point of contact for all pension related queries from employees whilst maintaining a strong relationship with their external providers; and also deal with all employee queries with regards to payslips and tax documentation.

About you:

The company is looking for someone with relevant payroll systems experience and HR knowledge, who is comfortable running a monthly payroll and has a core understanding of payroll functions including PAYE, legislation around pensions, SSP and parental leave.

You will be a whizz with Microsoft Excel advanced functions and have a methodical approach to work, with a strong eye for detail and focus on deadlines.

They are looking for a proactive team player with a positive and flexible approach and the ability to build good working relationships both internally and externally.
