Position: Care Assistant (Casual)
Location: Perry Green, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire (Commutable from Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow, Saffron Walden, Stevenage, St Albans and surrounding areas)
Job type: Part Time, Permanent
Hours: Casual - Shifts as required; 7:15am to 2:45pm and 2:15pm to 9:45pm across our Adult Home according to service needs. You would be free to take up or decline each shift offered.
Salary: £8.44 to £9.52 per hour

About the role:

The residents have epilepsy, varying degrees of learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and mobility needs. The staff team supports the residents in all aspects of their daily living by providing personal care and helping with social and domestic duties. Our client's aim is to promote and enable their independence.

About you:

If you are interested in care work and you consider yourself to be patient, reliable and sensitive to others needs, but are unable to commit to a regular working pattern, membership of their Flexible Care Work Scheme may be of interest. If you have some experience in care this would be an advantage together with Level 2 Health & Social Care (Adults), however this is not essential as training will be provided.

Offers are subject to pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS check paid for by the centre.

Although not on a public transport route, they offer subsidised transport from a range of pick-up points in Harlow, Sawbridgeworth, Bishops Stortford and Thorley.
