Position: Head of Development 
Location: London 
Contract type: Full time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 per week 
Salary: £69,759 actual per annum 

Closing date: 5pm on Monday 26th November 
Interview date: 4th December (morning) 

About the role: 

The Head of Development is a pivotal role in the High Value Fundraising department. We are bucking the trend by delivering double digit growth in Fundraising, and the Development team and the Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD) campaign is crucial to our future income growth and ability to deliver our ambitious mission. 

There is much more to be explored with our growing network of high net worth donors and partners – more prospects to be engaged, more stories to be shared and more projects to be funded. We have a bold and ambitious strategy to defeat dementia. This role will bring together researchers, the policy and community engagement teams, operations colleagues and fundraising managers to inspire donors to invest in our mission. 

About you: 

You will have a proved track record of delivering five, six and seven figure donations from high net worth individuals and/or companies. You will be a natural leader, dynamic and engaging, strategic and focussed. You will have proven success in working collaboratively and of bringing teams together to deliver targets. The potential is huge for this team to grow and work on many exciting and ground-breaking opportunities. This role and the team it leads are critical to our success and we are looking for someone exceptional to take up the challenge.
