Location: Plymouth, South West, PL6 5WS
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37 Hours Full Time / 30 Hours minimum Part Time; Flexible working, Full-time, Job share, Part-time
Salary: £62,835 to £71,632 per annum

Technology and data sit at the heart of this programme of work as they look to build the platforms and infrastructure that will support the organisation in the future.

The organisation is now looking for Principal Technical Architects to join the Digital, Data and Technology Directorate (DDaT) to be a part of this exciting transformation opportunity.

About the role:

As a Principal Technical Architect, you will lead one of the three specialisms; Digital, Technology or Data Architecture, you will be a responsible for the development and delivery of significant elements of the organisations ICT strategy. You will have responsibility for setting the strategic technical direction of the organisation and ensuring that direction is understood and implemented.

About you:

They are looking for effective, self-motivated individuals with a proven track record of technical architecture at a strategic level. You will have thorough knowledge and experience of technology within your specialism. You are a strong communicator and have experience of leading teams through a large IT / Digital change programme. You are able to prioritise multiple demands, tasks and projects and can respond quickly to changing circumstances.

The Digital, Data and Technology Directorate is the in-house IT division for our client. They are currently recruiting several roles to ensure the directorate’s teams contain the right blend of skills, experience and knowledge to take the major transformation programme forward. These teams are at the heart of the move to a digital, data-driven organisation with the ambition to provide the  customers with cutting-edge digital services.

You may have experience of the following: Technical Solutions Architect, Software Architecture, SaaS, Software as a Service, Oracle, MS Dynamics, Salesforce, Web Technologies, Front-end, Back-end, SDLC, Software Delivery Lifecycle, Technical Consultant, Software Architect, Technical Design, Software Development, etc.
