The Passage is a registered charity with an income over of £5m which runs London’s largest voluntary sector resource centre for homeless and vulnerable people, as well as providing accommodation and homelessness prevention projects. As a Vincentian organisation, its visions and values are integral as it strives to be inclusive, encompassing a diverse and rich culture and actively working with all aspects of society to influence and be an advocate for the homeless.
About the role
This is an incredibly exciting time to join the charity as an integral member of the leadership team working closely with the Chief Executive, Finance Committee and Board of Trustees. The charity has an esteemed reputation and are in an excellent position financially with a strong balance sheet.
You would be accountable for central services including finance, people management, facilities, information technology and data management. The post holder will have the autonomy to drive change and identify efficiencies to ensure that the most appropriate systems are in place to support the successful delivery of their services.
As a fully qualified finance professional, you will have a proven track record in organisational leadership managing multi-disciplinary teams. You will bring strategic thinking with experience of setting budgets and reporting at board level. It is also important that you are strong operationally, working collaboratively with your directorate to oversee the smooth running of systems and processes. You will have first class communication skills with strong emotional intelligence who will influence and proactively engage with stakeholders across the organisation.
