Prospectus is delighted to be working with the Greater London Fund for the Blind to recruit their new Fundraising Officer (Challenge & Special Events Fundraising).

GLFB raises funds in support of work which eliminates isolation and ensures social, cultural and economic inclusion for blind and partially sighted people across London. This is an exciting time to be joining the organisation as they grow their fundraising team and embark on a transformational new strategy led by inspirational beyond profit sector leaders.

The Fundraising Officer will be responsible for developing and delivering a successful challenge event programme, building excellent long-term relationships with supporters to maximise the amount raised and repeat participation rates. Responsibilities will also include delivering special and cultivation events tailored to deepen relationships with individuals and corporate supporters.

The selected candidate will have some experience in challenge and special events and will have the ability to manage a varied workload and work to income targets.GLFB are looking for positive and enthusiastic candidates with a can-do attitude and a drive to succeed. The successful candidate will be flexible, organised and creative.
