Deputy Care Manager
Our client offers a three-year Independence Programme for 18-25 year olds with learning disabilities and other complex health needs employing staff to provide care and support on a 24hour / 52 week basis.
Position: Deputy Domiciliary Care Manager
Location: Perry Green, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire (Commutable from Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow, Saffron Walden, Stevenage, St Albans and surrounding areas)
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, mix of 7.15am to 2.45pm and 2.15pm to 9:45pm, 5 days in every 7 with every other weekend off.
Salary: £21,162 to £23,889 per annum basic salary plus enhancements for unsocial hours

About the role:
Our client is looking to appoint 3 Deputy Domiciliary Care Managers, to work as part of the multi-disciplinary team at their College which provides an Independence Programme for 19 to 25 year old students with learning disabilities. As a Deputy care manager, you will have day-to-day organisational responsibilities, lead and supervise the team and support the students in both their care and learning opportunities in personal care and presentation, daily living skills, and learning programmes.
About you:
You will bring experience in a senior role with care and teaching experience and a minimum Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care (Adults) or be working towards it. Most important is a positive approach with a commitment to enabling students to overcome all barriers to learning and develop the skills they need to move into as independent and adult lifestyle as possible.
