Care Manager
Our client offers a three-year Independence Programme for 18-25 year olds with learning disabilities and other complex health needs employing staff to provide care and support on a 24hour / 52 week basis.
Position: Domiciliary Care Manager
Location: Perry Green, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire (Commutable from Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow, Saffron Walden, Stevenage, St Albans and surrounding areas)
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £30,755 to £34,434 per annum

About the role:
Due to expanding numbers of learners, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Domiciliary Care Manager. Our client is seeking someone who is committed to leading and supervising a dedicated staff team, supporting students in their care and learning plans on a day to day basis, enabling the students to overcome all barriers to learning and develop the skills they need to move into as independent an adult lifestyle as possible.
The successful postholder will be reporting directly to the Registered Care Manager and working alongside other Domiciliary Care Managers delivering a high standard of care practice.
About you:
- Experience of working with people with learning difficulties in a care setting
- A relevant Level 3 NVQ / Diploma
- Agreement to undertake level 5 QCF Diploma in Leadership for H&S Care
- A proven track record within a registered residential setting
- Experience of managing and implementing person centred plans
- An ability to lead, motivate and support a dedicated care staff team
- The ability to work a shift pattern
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and CQC registration requirements
