In October 2018, two like minded housing associations came together because they want to improve the services they provide and do more in their communities. They’ll do this by listening to customers and working alongside them.

Together they provide housing at different levels of affordability for people living in London, the South East, East Midlands and East of England. They also offer a range of care and support services.

The Revenue Officer will deliver a consistent, reliable, excellent, customer focused service, to ensure that all tenants adhere to their tenancy conditions regarding rent payment and that appropriate recovery action is taken where necessary. To maximise rental income and arrange affordable payment plans with customers.

You should have excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate clearly and persuasively.

You will be familiar and keep up-to-date with legislative and regulatory requirements for rent and service charges. You will maximise income from rents and/or service charges by ensuring prompt payment of all income due.

Professional and friendly with your approach you must have strong experience of court action and court appearance along with sound knowledge in arrears collection.

Computer skills, ideally within a housing management system and an understanding of working in debt recovery or for a registered social landlord, local authority or voluntary sector organisation is essential.
