Prospectus is excited to be working with a worldwide environmental campaign group to recruit for the position of Fundraising Assistant - Climate Change. This role will act as the assistant to the Fundraising Director in a small UK team focused on Trusts and Major Donor income with expected gifts from six and seven figures and above. You will also hold relationships with the United States office and there will likely be two trips to the US within your first year including a companywide get away.

As Fundraising Assistant you will work with the Fundraising Director to engage donors and prospects across Europe, and develop a good knowledge of the donor portfolio and work plan. You will be responsible for helping the Fundraising Director with database usage and record entry, and creating and running reports on donor activity whilst acting as the liaison between the different departments to ensure the smooth running of the office. You will also pull together evidence from the team for six and seven figure applications, production of copy and drafting donor correspondence.

The successful candidate will have good organisational, database and practical skills from another assistant level role with previous experience in Trusts or Major Donor Fundraising. You will be level headed, emotionally intelligent and able to change you approach depending on your audience, whether that's with the US office, the Executive Director, high-net worth individuals or research assistant.
