Blenheim is an established charity that provides support to drug and alcohol users, their family and carers. We support people to make lasting changes to their lives. We believe in people’s capacity to change. Blenheim, as part of a new tender, will be delivering the Haga Haringey Alcohol Service. The Service will be part of the integrated Haringey Treatment System. The Service will offer support for individuals to make positive, healthy changes to their lifestyle, particularly relating to their alcohol use. The Service will support people to maintain their recovery by providing a range of interventions, including 1:1 keywork sessions, groupwork, family work and counselling. Coproduction will be at the heart of the service.

Blenheim are recruiting a Community Detox Nurse Band 6 who will assess service users in order to establish need for alcohol detoxification treatment. You will support delivery of nursing clinics (including, but not limited to, nursing assessment, cognitive screening and assessment for, and administration of, Pabrinex), pre-detoxification groups, community alcohol detoxifications and referral and coordination of residential detoxification treatment.  You will contribute towards the wider alcohol treatment service contractual targets and support staff accordingly within the team using your specialist knowledge.

You will supervise recovery staff and may also take on line management of nursing staff.
