Dementia Adviser / Care Adviser

Our client is the UK's leading dementia charity. They provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia.
Position: Memory Adviser
Location: Home based – flexible across Dorset
Contract type: Part Time, Permanent
Hours: 21 per week
Salary: £12,207 actual per annum
Closing date: 5pm on Thursday 22nd November
Interview date: Tuesday 4th December
About the role:
In 2014 Dorset won the Memory Support and Advisory Services contract for 5 years, funded by the local Clinical Commissioning Group. The Memory Support and Advisory Service guides people through the diagnosis process and provides them with post-diagnosis support.
They are looking for a person to provide a highly responsive, individualised information and signposting service to people who have concerns about their memory or with a diagnosis of dementia as the first priority for the service.
About you:
You will possess an NVQ level 3 (or equivalent), have good time management, communication and IT skills and be able to represent the needs of the organisation and clients externally.
