Our client is a charity dedicated to supporting people with a learning disability to lead independent lives with opportunity and choice where their rights are respected. They provide a range of services in Coventry and Oxford which help people with a learning disability to live their life to the full. 

Position: Person Centred Support Coordinator 
Location: Coventry, West Midlands (Commutable from Nuneaton, Royal Leamington Spa, Solihull, Birmingham, Rugby and surrounding areas) 
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 37 hours per week 
Salary: starting at £9.12

About the role: 

The role of the Person Centred Support Co-ordinator is to champion person centred support of behalf of the people who use the service. 

You will ensure all support is person led, to develop, implement and review the support plans to ensure all their needs and dreams are met. 

About you: 

Are you organised, confident and creative and are passionate about the rights of people with learning disabilities, promoting choice, opportunities and independence. 

Do you consider yourself a team player and a people person? 

A sense of humour and commitment will go a long way in the role along with honesty, reliability and flexibility, if you can bring fun and encouragement to the team to encourage people to grow and develop, then we want to hear from you! 

Previous experience of working with adults with learning disabilities is essential. A working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel is also essential to the role.
