Job Details
Are you an experienced programmes professional? Do you have grant management expertise?
Our client, a leading children's international development charity, is looking to recruit an experienced Programmes Specialist on a temporary basis for a period of 4 weeks initially.
The role will support the development across the charity's disasters and emergency portfolio, ensuring the programming addresses disaster risk and will strengthen community resilience. In partnership with a range of stakeholders, you will support the development of the organisation's ECHO Humanitarian Implementation Plan proposals and supply vital capacity at a very busy time. Other duties will include conducting risk assessments, report writing and grant management. You may also be required to undertake ad hoc administration as and when required.
The ideal candidate will have grant management experience, specifically with European Commission's Humanitarian Aid Office, ideally with an exposure to using APPEL or ECHO's online portal/e-single form. In addition, the candidate will also have a track record in humanitarian programmes and grants. You will review proposals and manage budgets so therefore will need a keen eye for detail. To apply, please submit your CV in Word format, cover letters are not required at this stage.
