Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Unicef UK and work right at the heart of the Executive team to achieve ambitious results for children around the world.

As Chief of Staff, you will be a right hand person to our Executive Director (CEO), acting as a sounding board as well as a representative for him across the organisation. Working closely with both the Executive Team and the Senior Leadership Team, this role works as a problem solver; you will lead on high level projects, ensure that initiatives are aligned to our organisational strategy and you will assist the leadership team with implementing and delivering the Unicef UK vision and mission.

To succeed, you must be able to adapt to a changing environment and work well under pressure with multiple demanding priorities.  You will have significant experience of working alongside executive and board level colleagues and excel at building relationships across an organisation. This role is ideally suited to someone who is already operating in a similar role or a senior Executive Assistant, looking for the next step in their career.

Act now and visit www.unicef.org.uk/jobs to apply online.

Closing date: 5pm, Wednesday 28 November 2018

Interview date: Tuesday 11 December 2018

We welcome applications from a diverse range of people, respecting and drawing on different perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a criminal records check. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights.

If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact Supporter Care on 0300 330 5580 during office hours.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
