Job Details

Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation.  We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

Unicef UK’s fundraising teams raise funds to support Unicef’s long-term development and emergency relief work for children. Our sector-leading Corporate Partnerships team secures and manages long-term multi-million partnerships with major UK companies including easyJet, Unilever, Arm and Manchester United among others. We are currently recruiting for three roles to join the team: Senior Brand Partnerships Manager, Senior Business Development Manager and Business Development Manager. This is an exciting time to join an award winning team innovating with exceptional results.

As Senior Business Development Manager, you will use your talent to identify and develop major national and international new business opportunities in support of Unicef’s work for children.  This will include developing compelling proposals and presentations for prospective new partners and managing negotiation and contract processes.

To succeed in this role, you will have significant experience of corporate fundraising or business development. In particular, we are looking for a strong track record of winning, negotiating and delivering six figure new business partnerships as well as experience of strategic planning and managing budgets. You will excel at engaging with c-suite influencers in order to secure long-term, high value partnerships.  Above all, you will be committed to protecting children and their rights.

If you share our values and ethos, this role offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference to children around the world.

Act now and visit www.unicef.org.uk/jobs to apply online.

Closing date: 5pm, Wednesday 28 November 2018.

Interview date: Wednesday 12 December 2018.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of people, respecting and drawing on different perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a Basic Disclosure from Disclosure Scotland. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights.

If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact Supporter Care on 0300 330 5580.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
