Support Worker
Our client, based on a 68-acre site near Much Hadham in Hertfordshire, comprises a School, College and Care Home providing specialist services for vulnerable people with severe epilepsy and other complex medical conditions for over 100 years. The Centre is within a commutable distance by car of Harlow, Bishops Stortford, Ware, Hertford & surrounding towns.
Position: Day Care Support Worker
Location: Perry Green, Much Hadham
Job type: Full time, part time, casual and weekend positions available, Permanent
Salary: £16,187 to £17,421 per annum

Excellent opportunities have arisen within their day service provision, which aims to provide a wide-ranging programme of work, learning and leisure opportunities for residents with epilepsy and learning difficulties.
Vacancies are 1 full time post (37.5 hours per week), working Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm; with the occasional evening & weekend shifts, and 1 part time post working 15 hours per week. Casual work is also available to suit your needs!
You will be working as part of a dynamic team, delivering leisure and recreation activities for adult residents and clients on day placement. Their objective is to ensure meaningful engagement and for individuals to participate and achieve their planned outcomes.
About you:
Experience of working in a care environment is essential for this role, as is willing to drive our client’s vehicles.
On site accommodation is also available for staff whose home is 50 miles+ from the Centre for up to 24 months.
