About Us

Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting is the world’s only movement for every girl and any girl because we believe that each of them deserves to be the best they can be. Free to make what they want from the Movement, girls learn by doing, make friends and have fun. In safe, local spaces, girls develop the skills and attitudes to change themselves, their communities and our world.

The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) keeps the global Movement thriving, united and growing.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver efficient fundraising administrative and support service to the Individual Giving Team, donors and supporters.

This role will include donor database management, dealing with telephone and email enquiries, processing expenses, drafting correspondence, reports and presentations as required.

About You

As a successful Junior Fundraising Officer, you will have a strong background in undertaking a full range of administrative and project management tasks.

You will have a great track record of building and maintaining relationships, developing cross-functional working relationships with department and wider organisation.

The ideal candidate will have a ‘can-do’ attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, be highly organised, team-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential, with knowledge of other languages desirable but not essential.

If you care about opportunities for girls around the world, can quickly pick up on supporting the Fundraising team and work collaboratively, but also under your own initiative, this could be the role for you!

What you can expect from us

In return, we offer 26 days' annual leave plus public holidays, 5% Generous Matched Pension Contribution, Season Ticket Loan, Cycle to Work Scheme and Employee Assisted Programme (EAP).
