We have an exciting job opportunity for a Fundraising Manager to join our Community Fundraising team and cover the areas of Lancashire, Cumbria and Isle of Man. We have ambitious targets to help beat heartbreak for everyone. At the British Heart Foundation.

Community Fundraising is all about being cause-driven and is a team at the forefront of our fundraising drive to power and accelerate our research. With an established world class team, we plan to significantly grow our income to £18 million by 2021 in order to have even greater impact on the people, patients and families in Lancashire,Cumbria and Isle of Man, across the United Kingdom and worldwide.

About you

With a demonstrable track record of success in proactively forming and developing fundraising groups and recruiting individual volunteers and supporters, you'll have previous experience of securing transformative fundraising partnerships, nurturing high worth opportunities and delivering national campaigns, local projects and maximising community engagement. You'll have excellent communication, people management and relationship building skills. You will have the opportunity to make a real difference and impact in your community, help grow our BHF family and raise funds to power remarkable research breakthroughs.

You must live within the Lancashire and Cumbria area and have good knowledge of the fabulous people and opportunities that exist across this area. You'll be working with our inspiring supporters and volunteers on a daily basis, building relationships and empowering people to bring all that they can to help beat heartbreak for everyone.

You'll also need a full UK driving licence plus previous experience of working remotely and be able to demonstrate an ability to manage and motivate yourself, whilst still working collaboratively with colleagues. If you intend to relocate to the area, please do make this clear in your submission.
