Our client is the UK's leading dementia charity. They provide information and support, improve care, fund research, and create lasting change for people affected by dementia. 

Position: Internal Communication and Engagement Officer 
Location: London EC3N 2AE 
Contract type: Full time, Fixed Term - ending 13 January 2020 (maternity cover) 
Hours: 35 per week 
Salary: £32,908 actual per annum 

Closing date: by 5pm on Wednesday 21st November. 
Interview date: Wednesday 28th November or Monday 3rd December 

About the role: 

They're looking for an exceptional Internal Communication and Engagement Officer (Events) to join their team. Working closely with the Internal Communications manager, you’ll play an important role in informing, involving and engaging their people with the Society; enabling them to actively contribute to its success and act as passionate ambassadors for all that they do. 

You’ll be responsible for the on-going creative and content production, management, tactical development and measurement of their internal events programme. You will create and advising on content that is engaging, informative and contributes to connecting their people across the Society. You will be an ambassador for effective and engaging events, ensuring their events play a central role in the internal channel network. 

About you: 

You’ll be passionate about creating outstanding events that leave a lasting effect on an organisation. You’ll be a calm and positive influence on the people you work with. You'll be a first class communicator with superb writing skills, a great influencer, and have a diplomatic yet determined approach in all your professional relationships. You’ll have a proven track record of advising on effective internal communications and engagement approaches; a clear understanding of audience segmentation and tools and tactics to engage with each audience. Experience of working in a business partnering environment would be beneficial.
