Our client is a hidden gem located within 68 acres of beautiful Hertfordshire parkland between the towns of Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford. They manage a specialist Children’s Home, School, College, Residential Home with nursing and Day Centre for people with Epilepsy and other complex needs. Position: Care & Support Worker 
Location: Perry Green, Much Hadham, Hertfordshire (Commutable from Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow, Saffron Walden, Stevenage, St Albans and surrounding areas) 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: Full time, part time, casual and weekend; (07:15 to 14:45 and 14:15 to 21:45 with 20 minutes paid break) 
Salary: £16,466 to £17,825 per annum (£8.44 to £9.14 per hour) plus weekend enhancements and overtime opportunities

About the role: 

Our client is looking for caring and passionate individuals to assist and support their adult residents to live as independently as possible in their well equipped on site bungalows. You will be supporting leisure activities such as horse-riding and swimming, assisting with personal care and carrying out general domestic duties. Helping the residents to set objectives, record their progress and celebrate milestones with them is what makes this such an incredibly rewarding role. 

You will be working a mixture of early shifts and late shifts. For full time care workers, this involves working 5 shifts a week which includes working 2 in 4 weekends. Part time is available (two- three shifts per week). 

About you: 

You don’t need experience in care to come and join their dynamic teams, they offer fantastic comprehensive training and will support you in achieving your Level 2 in Health and Social Care. So, if you’re an excellent communicator with the desire, patience and motivation to support others then they would love to hear from you. 

Offers are subject to pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS check paid for by the centre. Please note they are not on a public transport route.
