Prospectus is working with a high profile cancer charity to recruit for a new National Digital Fundraising Manager. Your role will be to lead a national direct marketing and digital fundraising campaign through the management of a team that develops, campaign manages and delivers a number of fundraising products.

This position is offered on a three day a week basis, flexible across the week as a job share, on an initial three-month contract, with possible extension and paying up to £300 per day. You will oversee a seven-figure expenditure budget with a multi-million pound income target on a leading well-known national campaign.

The role itself will be responsible for the development of multi-media campaigns to deliver to planned product schedules and budgets, including full marketing plans and agency briefs. You will write a full one-year tactical marketing plan in accordance with their overall strategy and budget, with input from relevant departments. You will then develop, monitor and continually evolve the strategy to deliver to department plans by monitoring, forecasting and reporting against product income and expenditure lines.

The position will give you the chance to conduct in-depth analysis of product and campaign performance and apply learnings on live and future campaigns. You will work with a variety of teams including Evidence and Insight, New Product Development and Innovation, and Planning to derive insights from research and apply to marketing and product plans. The overall aim of the position will be to continually monitor and refine the portfolio of products/propositions and channels/media in order to optimise the organisation's return on investment.

The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive and demonstrable experience in delivering direct marketing and digital fundraising campaigns nationwide. You will have previously analysed campaign performance, written and delivered multi-channel marketing plans, taken a new proposition to market (i.e. created by others) using insight to develop positioning, and briefed and managed external marketing agencies.
